In mid-2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has not yet ended. Indonesian people are encouraged to adopt new habitual adaptations to be able to live productively and avoid the transmission of the virus which has claimed more than 500 thousand lives.

At present, the government of the Republic of Indonesia no longer uses the term "new normal" which was often used during the COVID-19 pandemic. The term has been changed to "an adaptation of new habits" or IMR. In this era, people can move back productively but still implement COVID-19 prevention measures.

How to Implement New Adaptations for Habits
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia has issued new rules that must be obeyed by the public when they want to go out of the house. In this rule, the important thing to consider before leaving the house is your health condition.

Make sure you are in a fit condition when you want to leave the house. If you are not feeling well, you should postpone traveling outside the house and rest until you are fully recovered.

You are also required to use a mask when on the move outside the home. In addition, wash your hands frequently after touching anything outside the home. You can also bring your own cutlery from home if you are not sure of the cleanliness standards of the restaurant where you eat. When eating, do not forget to keep the mask in a clean place so that the inside of the mask is not contaminated with viruses.

3. At the station, terminal, airport, or port

Make sure the hotel manager has conducted COVID-19 preventive health protocols, such as spraying disinfectants, and cleaning the AC filter regularly.
